English Project

Hey Guys!

I'm posting here for an independant english project.
The book I've chosen to read is the Lovely Bones.
I wanted to read it because I read the synopsis on www.amazon.com.
Its about a girl who gets raped, goes to heaven and watches her friends and family deal on earth without her.
It sounded interesting so I wanted to give it a try.
Im reading the Lovely Bones with Parvita and Bibi.
It's helpful to read a book with my friends (well at least for me).

An interesting fact I leared about the author, Alice Sebold was that at the age of 18 she was raped and brutally beaten.* The Lovely Bones was a story inspired by that incident.* She was also very involved with drugs.*
If I stick to reading 100 pages a week it will take me about 4 weeks to finish this book.

Well Im out to get the book now. I hope it's as good as I think it is.
